Rainbow

Good morning year ones
Hope you and your family are all keeping well and keeping yourselves safe.  It's another lovely sunny day which is a great opportunity to spend some time in the garden.  I spent yesterday afternoon in my garden tidying and cutting back overgrown shrubs and sweeping up leaves.

Activity 1
Today it would be nice if you paint or draw a picture of a fabulous rainbow to put in your window.  I've noticed lots of people are already doing this so if you haven't you could make one of your own.  Rainbows are there to cheer people up and make them smile.  You could make a collage rainbow if you have any pieces of coloured paper at home!

Activity 2

Counting to 100 with Captain America
Click on the link below
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbGk_7xiFJ0

Also you can practice counting backwards from 100 and exercise at the same time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jMmZaFvRpE

Let's also work on our counting in 2s action rhyme

Two,four, six, eight,
Who do we appreciate?                   (Hold hands out, palms up, shrug shoulders)

Ten, twelve, and fourteen,
We're so fast we can't be seen.                (Run on the spot)

Sixteen, eighteen, twenty, so...
Now you see how fast we go!                 (Run on the spot)

Twenty-two and twenty-four,
Tables ended.  Close the door!                (Shout this last line and clap hands loudly)

You could make up your own rhyme for counting in twos!

Activity 3

Barnaby bear is going on a train journey today!
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01157ts

Draw a picture of a train and write and draw all the things that Barnaby saw from the window.  You could also draw some other things he might see on his journey.  He might see some physical features like - beach, cliff, forest, trees, hill, mountain sea, ocean, river, weather, soil and flowers.
Also draw some human features he might see like- town, house, bridge factory, farm, shop and post office.

A picture of Barnaby bear looking very happy on his travels will be great.

Also remember to practice the phonics on our earlier link.  You could watch number blocks on cbeebies and alpha blocks .  Read a book and copy the writing to make it into your own book.
look at a different activity in your pack from the bingo sheet.

Have a lovely day and be good.  Miss you all
