Fabulous Friday

Good morning Year One
Hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend.  I think today is going to be another sunny day so let's make the most of it if we can.  Please remember to post a short comment and to view today's activities at the end of the day.  I will be posting a timetable for next week which will provide you with some structure to the day but will still be posting learning in a more creative way so don't worry.  It's all about making things easier for you to learn at home.  Today let's  have a nice end to a busy week.  I will see you at the end of the day.

Activity 1

PE session with Joe Wicks  9.00
or

warm up with Maximo .  Click on the link below

Activity 2

Phonics and reading your book.

Practice tricky words trucks on the link below

Next, make a list of adjectives(describing words) to describe your rocket that you have drawn.  Here is an example below:

Rocket Ship Cartoon Png , Transparent Cartoon, Free Cliparts ...
red     silver   round window   hot fire   yellow   orange   pointed shape    small   large  fast   speedy

When you have made a list of adjectives, use them to write 3 sentences about your rocket.  Remember to start your sentence with a capital letter and end it with a full stop.  For example:

My silver rocket travels very fast.

Activity 3

To day let's practice our numbers outside using chalks.  Use our chalks to count in tens, twos and fives.
When you finished you can design an obstacle course using your chalks.  You can make some simple straight lines for you to walk on, then some zig-zag lines.  I'm sure you can think of your own ideas for your obstacle course.

If you haven't any chalks, you can make an obstacle course using other things for you to step over, go under, around, beneath, through and so on.  I hope you have a lovely day and keep busy.

Well done everyone for another fantastic week. You are trying so hard to complete the tasks set even when things are a little tricky.  Thank you so much for your co-operation.  I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine.  I will now share some photos from today and then will publish another post showing you our timetable ready for next week.
