Good morning year 1

I received some fantastic pictures yesterday of all the brilliant things you have been doing at home.  I hope you all had a great kindness day.  Thank you also for your comments which cheers me up each day.  Remember to keep fit with Joe Wicks live on you tube at 9am.

Activity 1

Let's have a quick practice of our phonics to start us off for today. Go to our phonics play activity again to play some of the games on phase 5.   Then let's see if you can see how long it takes you to make the 11 words below.

Activity 2

Repeating patterns




Today I thought it would be nice for you to design your own repeating patterns picture.  You can use shapes if you like.  I have given you some examples to look at to help you.  Challenge yourself to make a really unusual repeating pattern.


Activity 3

A fun activity today would be to build your own den or cave.  Check with parents first!
Think about what you will use and where you will build it.  It has to be exciting and fun filled.  You can play with your toys hidden away in your den or cave.   Make it into a story and then have a go at writing a short imaginative story about your den.
