New day Tuesday

Good morning Year One.  I hope you all had a good evening.Thank you all for sharing your photos and commenting on the blog.  This enables us to keep in contact with each other and see pictures of what our friends are doing.

Activity 1

Today I have included some spelling games.  These are the common exception words that we learn in class.  (words that we can't sound out)

Activity 2

Activity 3

Science - Bubble snake
What you need:
plastic bottle         odd old sock         fairy liquid     water     
How to make a bubble snake.
1.  Ask an adult to cut off the bottom of a plastic drinks bottle.
2.  Put the sock over the bottle.
These bubble snakes are an EASY activity for kids! All you need is an empty water bottle and one mismatched sock!

3. Put fairy liquid into water and dip the end of the sock in.

4. Then blow on the mouth piece to make the bubbles.  The harder you blow the more bubbles .  Have fun!
